NEIWPCC’s Wetlands Workgroup is comprised of wetlands staff from our member states, the EPA, and the Army Corps of Engineers.
The workgroup meetings provide an opportunity to discuss and coordinate a response to developments in state and federal regulatory programs. For example, the workgroup has collaborated on comment letters regarding policies surrounding Waters of the United States, or WOTUS, and Clean Water Act section 401. The workgroup meets semi-annually with additional meetings as needed.
