About the Host

Jeff Berckes brings over 15 years of professional experience leading strategic planning projects at the state, local, and federal levels. He served as the program coordinator for the Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Program with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources for more than 13 years. Berckes has authored national-level policy papers and statewide program plans in water quality administration and agricultural runoff. He holds a master’s in environmental science from Oregon State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Iowa.
