NEIWPCC now offers online training courses for wastewater professionals in a self-paced format that can be completed on your schedule from anywhere you have an internet connection.
Four on-demand courses are available and additional courses are in development as part of NEIWPCC’s Wastewater Training and Technical Assistance project. For more information, visit our project webpage.
After purchasing, NEIWPCC will send a link to take the online course within 2-3 business days to the address provided with registration. The email to access the course will come from Coassemble, our learning platform.
Please note: These hours are not approved for Title 5 TCHs.
Wet Weather Operations
This course presents essential knowledge and develops skills necessary to prepare wet weather operating plans for wastewater collection and treatment facilities. Six wastewater training contact hours (6 TCHs) will be awarded for successful completion.

Wastewater Ethics
This course presents ethics terminology, teaches awareness about common ethical dilemmas faced by wastewater professionals, and offers tips for making difficult, but ethical decisions in the future. Four wastewater training contact hours (4 TCHs) will be awarded for successful completion.

Basic Municipal Wastewater Treatment
This course presents an overview of a general wastewater treatment plant from collection system to discharge. Twenty wastewater training contact hours (20 TCHs) will be awarded for successful completion.

Wastewater Process, Troubleshooting, and Optimization
This course builds a greater understanding of secondary treatment to help operators not only recognize, troubleshoot, and resolve process problems that can lead to non-compliance, but also systematically work to optimize treatment. Eight wastewater training contact hours (8 TCHs) will be awarded for successful completion.
