If you have any questions, please reach out to James Plummer (jplummer@neiwpcc.org).
NEIWPCC, under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Cooperative Agreement number 83950601, and in coordination with EPA, provides this no-cost, accessible self-paced training to help designated operators in Indian Country meet the operator training requirement. EPA provided comments and suggestions on the training to improve the technical accuracy. The training will meet the requirements of the 2015 federal UST regulation, 40 CFR Part 280 Subpart J.
UST Operator Exams
Are you interested in taking the exam, but don’t need training? EPA developed class A and class B UST operator exams to primarily help UST system owners and operators in Indian Country meet the 2015 federal UST regulation requirement that designated operators demonstrate knowledge. Designated operators are required to verify compliance with the requirement to pass an exam. On behalf of EPA, NEIWPCC is making these exams easily accessible and at no cost to all designated operators. To learn more about these exams, please visit the EPA’s website.
