The Legendary Aquatic Biologist (LAB) Award is presented to distinguished colleagues who have devoted their careers to furthering science and policy to protect the region’s aquatic resources.
The celebrated recipients have served as thoughtful mentors and supportive advisers to environmental professionals throughout the region who share similar goals and challenges in our work to carry out the Clean Water Act. The LAB Award honors these well-known leaders in the Northeast, with gratitude for their contributions to the region, and for sharing their experiences and expertise with us to foster effective water protection programs.
