NEIWPCC is now inviting abstracts for the 28th National Tanks Conference (NTC), to be held Sept. 22-25 in Spokane, Washington. NEIWPCC is coordinating the conference in partnership with the planning team of state, tribal and federal program staff to craft an agenda covering timely issues facing the tanks community.

Submissions are due by Feb. 7. The conference planners seek abstracts from UST/LUST professionals, including tank inspectors; cleanup specialists; state, tribal and territorial employees; federal regulators; and industry representatives. Suggested submission topics for presentations and posters include underground storage tank compliance; the changing industry; leaking underground storage tank cleanup; financial responsibility; and cross-program integration. A full list of topics is available on the event webpage. Presentation formats include posters, sessions between 15 and 45 minutes or interactive workshops with hands-on learning opportunities.

The conference is open to all registrants, with registration opening in late spring 2025.
