Training Webinars for Water Quality Impairment Professionals.
NEIWPCC is now accepting presentation proposals for the National 303(d)/TMDL Webinar Series. Since 2016, this EPA-funded program has offered training and technical assistance to advance Clean Water Act Section 303(d) implementation. The webinars focus on key topics for state, territory, and tribal 303(d) and TMDL programs and other partners who work with these programs.
All submissions relevant to 303(d) or TMDL programs will be considered. Applications that address the following focus areas will be prioritized:
- Science communication and stakeholder engagement
- Data collection, management, and analysis
- Emerging topics for TMDLs
- Environmental justice
- Climate change
- Case studies with broadly applicable lessons
Webinar presentations are approximately 60 minutes in length with an additional 15-20 minutes for questions. Funding of up to $1,500 per webinar is available to support eligible applicants. See the full Call for Applications for more information.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and are reviewed quarterly by a planning team consisting of NEIWPCC, EPA and state TMDL staff. We anticipate selecting at least four proposals each year.
Submit your application online. For more information on the program and for a complete listing of previous webinars, visit the National 303(d)/TMDL Webinar Series webpage.
