Connecticut

• CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection State Beach Monitoring Program conducts weekly water sampling at state-owned and managed swimming areas from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with results reported out in the Swimming Area Water Quality Report. Visit: https://ctparks.com/water-quality-report.

Maine

• The Maine Healthy Beaches Program is a partnership between the Maine Department of Environmental Protection and local municipalities/state parks. This EPA-funded program monitors water quality at more than 60 beaches. Visit: https://www.maine.gov/dep/water/beaches/index.html.

Massachusetts

• The MA Department of Public Health collects water quality data from local health departments and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, which is added to an interactive data dashboard that is updated twice daily. Visit: https://www.mass.gov/beach-water-quality. 

New Hampshire

• The NH Department of Environmental Services monitors hundreds of coastal and inland beaches regularly. Results are shared on a Healthy Swimming Map. Visit: https://www.des.nh.gov/water/healthy-swimming. 

New York

Rhode Island

Vermont
