Cover of the Annual Report featuring staff in the field

NEIWPCC’s fiscal year 2025 annual report, which is structured around the new five-year strategic plan, is now available online. It provides an overview of the four strategic priorities that comprise the plan and breaks down NEIWPCC’s work and projects from this year, emphasizing how they each fit into the overall roadmap of the organization’s mission.

The report is accented with quantitative data, quotes from staff members, and highlights of specific projects to provide an in-depth look into the scope of NEIWPCC’s work. It also provides a financial summary of NEIWPCC’s operating revenues.

One particular achievement was the publication of the revised “Technical Report 16: Guides for the Design of Wastewater Treatment Works” manual, which provides guidance on the planning and designing of wastewater treatment facilities. Other accomplishments include continued work on an information clearinghouse for resources on PFAS in municipal biosolids, habitat restoration projects, invasive species monitoring, and bioextraction initiatives.

Additionally, NEIWPCC hosted conferences and events throughout the country and offered a variety of workgroups that encouraged collaboration on issues such as wetlands, emerging contaminants, and underground storage tanks.

NEIWPCC’s Executive Committee and Commission, which consists of five water quality professionals from each of the seven member states, met throughout the year to discuss water quality-related concerns, offer guidance and identify new priorities.

A recap of individual work in each state is also available on our website.
