NEIWPCC’s 2024 annual report is now available, both online and in print. It features a summary of NEIWPCC’s work in the Northeast, highlighting how each project supports the mission of clean and sustainable water throughout the seven member states.

The report details new and ongoing research on topics such as aquatic invasive species, habitat restoration and water quality testing. It also describes state-led drinking water programs in Maine, New York and Rhode Island, as well as updates from the wastewater training team. Other efforts focused on implementing environmental restoration and educational programs throughout the region.

Additionally, NEIWPCC hosted conferences and events held in both the United States and Canada and offered a variety of workgroups that encouraged collaboration on issues such as emerging contaminants, underground storage tanks and nonpoint source pollution.

NEIWPCC’s Executive Committee and Commission, which consists of five water quality professionals from each of the seven members states, met throughout the year to discuss water quality-related concerns, offer guidance and identify new priorities.

The annual report also provides a financial summary of NEIWPCC’s operating revenues.

A limited number of print copies of the annual report are available. To receive one, email communications@neiwpcc.org.
