NEIWPCC has published its annual “state summaries,” which break down yearly work and accomplishments specific to each of the seven member states. Covering fiscal year 2024-2025, the two-page reports highlight local projects, such as New Hampshire’s new Emerging Water Professionals Internship Program and Massachusetts’s septic system certification and training program. They also detail collaborative activities and events that addressed clean water challenges across state lines, including regional and national conferences, updated guidelines for wastewater engineers who design treatment plants, and the establishment of a Biosolids Technology Hub to find solutions for PFAS in municipals biosolids. The reports describe NEIWPCC’s new strategic plan, which outline work priorities, goals, and tactics to guide our mission of advancing clean water in the Northeast throughout the next four years.
