Manufacturer’s
specifications:
Type 1 sensor is recommended by
manufacturer for detecting liquid and vapor gasoline, alcohol-blend fuels,
and JP-4 jet fuel in wet or dry monitor wells.
Type 2 sensor is recommended by manufacturer for detecting fuel oils #1 and #2,
A2M, JP-4 jet fuel, JP-5 jet fuel, unleaded
gasoline, and alcohol blend fuels in wet monitoring wells only.
Comments:
Sensors are not reusable, and
must be replaced after contact with hydrocarbons.
