The first webinar in the National 303(d) Restoring Our Impaired Waters Webinar Series will focus on the recently enhanced Recovery Potential Screening (RPS) Tool. The event is scheduled for November 30, 2-3:30 p.m. EST via Zoom.
RPS is a comparative assessment for identifying differences among watersheds that inform the likelihood of a successful restoration. This flexible and highly customizable approach can be used to support a wide range of watershed comparisons.
Speakers include Emily Cira from the U.S. EPA, and Andy Somor, associate at The Cadmus Group. They will present on the RPS Tool, a custom-coded Excel-based tool developed by the EPA. Rebecca Jascot and Traci Iott, both from the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP), will follow to share their experience using the tool.
