Calculating the Economic Value of Clean Water in the New York-New Jersey Harbor Estuary (webinar)

Join us for a Zoom webinar on Thursday, September 21 to discuss the challenges and opportunities of calculating the value of a clean and healthy Harbor Estuary to the residents of our region. 
The New York-New Jersey Harbor & Estuary Program and NEIWPCC recently released the first-ever attempt to calculate how much households in our region value clean water in the New York – New Jersey Harbor Estuary. Authors Jessica Balukas, ICF, and Robert Johnston, Professor of Economics at Clark University, will discuss the importance of this study, their approach, and their methodology.  They’ll also talk about how this report can be used as a starting point for additional and much-needed analysis of the economic value of the Estuary.
