NEIWPCC hosted four specialty webinars for commissioners, federal, and state personnel this summer.

Bookended by current research in environmental surveillance, the sessions also featured non-flushables, and an update on how the outcome from the Maui v. Hawaii Wildlife fund will impact states locally.

Presentations included:

  • COVID-19 Wastewater Testing in the City of Boston/Biobot Analytics, led by NEIWPCC Program Manager, Christina Stringer
  • Maui v. Hawai’I Wildlife Fund, led by NEIWPCC Water Quality Division Director, Richard Friesner, NEIWPCC Environmental Analyst,  Audra Martin, and Deputy Assistant Commissioner for Water Resources, MassDEP, Bob Brown
  • Non-flushables, led by NEIWPCC Wastewater & Onsite Systems Division Director, Tom Groves

The webinars took place every two weeks between the end of July and September.
