Reintroducing NEIWPCC

Seven decades of impact, seven letters for our future

Since 1947, NEIWPCC has helped the states of the Northeast preserve and advance water quality.

We have engaged and convened water quality professionals and other interested parties to collaborate on water, wastewater, and environmental science challenges across shared regions, ecosystems, and areas of expertise.

Together with our partners, we have made tremendous strides towards our shared vision of clean and sustainable water throughout the Northeast.

A Workshop

However, there is a lot more to be done, and the work becomes more challenging each year.

Over the past couple of years, we realized that in order to fully deliver on our mission—to advance clean water in the Northeast through collaboration with, and service to, our member states—we needed to better communicate our intent, our work, and our impact.

In other words, we needed a clear strategic plan and a compelling brand.

We gathered input from hundreds of stakeholders through workshops, surveys, and one-on-one conversations. We considered where we fit in the water quality world, and thought about where we wanted to head over the next few decades.

We are pleased to present the results of that work today!
