NEIWPCC is now accepting presentation proposals for our National 303(d)/TMDL Webinar Series. Since 2016, this EPA-funded program has offered training and technical assistance to advance Clean Water Act Section 303(d) implementation. Section 303(d) requires states to identify and list waters which don’t meet water quality standards and develop plans to reduce pollution. Over 350 people from state, tribal, and federal 303(d) programs and other related organizations have attended webinars so far.
We will consider all submissions and are especially seeking proposals focused on our priority topics, which include science communication, data management and analysis, and emerging concerns for TMDLs. Funding of up to $1,500 per webinar is available to support eligible applicants.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and will next be reviewed by early March, 2020. We expect to schedule at least 4 webinars in 2020.
