Training Webinars for Water Quality Impairment Professionals.

NEIWPCC is now accepting presentation proposals for our National 303(d)/TMDL Webinar Series. Since 2016, this EPA-funded program has offered training and technical assistance to advance Clean Water Act Section 303(d) implementation. Section 303(d) requires states to identify and list waters which don’t meet water quality standards and develop plans to reduce pollution.  Over 350 people from state, tribal, and federal 303(d) programs and other related organizations have attended webinars so far.

We will consider all submissions and are especially seeking proposals focused on our priority topics, which include community engagement, data management and analysis, and emerging concerns for TMDLs. Funding of up to $1,500 per webinar is available to support eligible applicants. See the full Call for Applications for more information.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and are reviewed quarterly, generally in March, June, September, and December. We expect to schedule approximately 4 webinars in 2020 and will provide information about the selection timeline upon receipt of your proposal.

Submit your application online. For more information on the program and for a complete listing of previous webinars, visit our webinar series website. Contact Richard Friesner with questions.
