Award-winning data editor and designer Tommy McCall will lead a webinar on using data visualization to communicate scientific information. In the webinar, Mr. McCall will help participants explore new ways to use charts and infographics to clearly and effectively communicate data and information related to work across the water sector.
The webinar is scheduled for October 3, 2019 from 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. To participate, register online. The program will be recorded and will be available online for those who cannot join on October 3. Mr. McCall is the founder of www.infographics.com and has produced infographics for CNN, the New York Times, the MIT technology review, and TED conferences.
Since 2016, NEIWPCC, through a grant from EPA, has hosted a series of informational webinars for state, territorial, and tribal program staff working on pollution budgets in impaired waterways under section 303(d) of the Clean Water Act. The webinars have featured a diverse array of guest lecturers and experts on topics ranging from modeling tools to stakeholder engagement strategies.
