The deadline to apply for recognition this year is May 30.
Utility of the Future award recipients will be announced this summer and formally recognized during a ceremony at WEFTEC 2018—WEF’s annual technical exhibition and conference—this October in New Orleans.
A webinar is scheduled on April 25 from 1 – 2 p.m. Eastern Time for utilities wishing to learn more about the program and the application process.
The recognition program was launched in 2016 by the National Association of Clean Water Agencies, the Water Environment Federation, the Water Research Foundation, and the WateReuse Association, with advice from the EPA.
More than 80 utilities have been recognized by this partnership, including the Lowell (Massachusetts) Regional Wastewater Utility.
